Camelotwas started in 1987 as an exciting fun filled evening to raise money forco-curriculars at La Salle. Camelot 2010 –“Rockin’ the Night Away” will be our 23rd annual charity auction. Each yearhundreds of parents, faculty, alumni and friends of La Salle have contributed to the auction by attending the event,donating items and volunteering. During the past 23 years we have raised over$1,900,000.00! This year our auction will take place on February 27, 2010.
“Rockin’the Night Away” will have all the elements that have made it a successful eventin the past including hors d’oeurves, a gourmet sit down dinner, an open barand a continental breakfast at the end of the evening. And this year, back bypopular demand, Mike Davis, “Mr. Entertainment”, will perform at the conclusionof the oral auction. Along with being a premier Elvis impressionist, Mike’stribute show includes salutes to other vocal idols such as Tom Jones, NeilDiamond, Toby Keith and many others. Last year his musical performance hadeveryone dancing and singing along with him.
Wewill have an exciting array of oral and silent auction items to bid on. Bids onthe silent auction items may be placed throughout the evening with each boothclosing at specific times.
Theoral auction features a professional auctioneer offering many unique items. Inthe past these items have included jewelry, tickets to major sporting events,vacations, furniture, and the list goes on.
Camelot is a fun, excitingand most importantly, a profitable evening. Come experience this year’s“Rockin’ the Night Away” with us.
